FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where are you based?
I generally shoot at locations between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. I am more than happy to travel further a field, however travel fees may apply depending on the location.
How long will it take to get my photos?
Images are delivered between 2-4 weeks depending on the type of session you have booked. I do love to surprise my clients with early gallery deliveries when I can!
Do I have the rights to print my photos?
Once you receive your digital images, you are welcome to print until your heart is content! You can print your images wherever you like, however nothing beats professional print quality and I am more than happy to order prints for you from a professional printing lab.
I haven't had professional images taken before, and feel awkward/unphotogenic!
Never fear - I always come prepared with prompts and poses to help you feel as comfortable as possible so we can capture beautiful and genuine candid moments! I don't overly pose my clients, but will give directions to help them get into more natural and flattering positions.
Can I suggest a location for my shoot?
Absolutely! I have a list of spots to suggest that I have pre-scouted, but I love it when my clients suggest locations that are special to them. Let me know when booking so I can scout the location and make sure it will work for your photos!
What do we do if it rains or looks like it might rain?
In the event of bad weather, or if you have an emergency, and need to reschedule please contact me as soon as possible. I will keep an eye on the extended forecast in the lead up to the shoot, and will contact you if it looks like we will need to reschedule due to the weather. I have my fingers and toes crossed that everything will align for beautiful weather on the day of your shoot!
Do you retouch portraits?
Yes, I hand edit each individual image that you receive within your gallery. My editing process usually involves retouching blemishes, evening out skin tones and whitening the teeth. This is done in a way that achieves a natural result that still looks like you! If there is anything specific about your appearance that makes you feel self conscious, have a chat with me when booking so I can be mindful of this when choosing flattering angles to shoot.
